This hospital was located in one of the prime locations in Chennai and was run with some of the leading doctors in town. However, the reach of the hospital was minimal and the people weren’t aware of the specialists who run the show. The challenge was to increase the visibility of the hospital and thereby bring in more people in the geographical area for consultation and suggestions in that specialization.
The hospital was typically following the old traditional method of looking out for the walk-in patients through word of mouth marketing. The Chief Doctor wanted a better reach as they had all types of patient services at a very affordable price as anyone could afford.
We adopted the strategy of ensuring the hospital is equipped digitally inside out. We brought in digital posters inside the premises, delivered an automated process for managing the patients. We also brought and established a digital presence for them online for different specialization doctors purely as a branding activity. We had deployed Subject Experts to pull in information related to specializations and made them interesting digital posters and awareness videos with relevant hash tagging.
Another huge opportunity we stumbled upon during our research was when we were looking at the doctors who were specialists were some of the well-known doctors and there wasn’t much competition in that particular geography. We started optimizing their brand pages for these specialization keywords and within a month almost all the brand keywords started showing up on the social media channels and search engines. We also made a couple of animated and real-time videos to increase the subject awareness among patients as a part of the brand building activity. As a result, the client is super impressed and we are working with them for a couple of years.
